Bearing vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, such as spalling, indentation, rust, cracks, wear and tear can be reflected in bearing vibration measurement. Therefore, the vibration can be measured by using special bearing vibration measuring device (frequency analyzer, etc.) and the abnormal situation can be inferred by frequency.

The measured value varies with the use condition of the bearing or the installation position of the sensor, so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured value of the machine every day before determining the judgment standard.

3. Bearing temperature

Usually the temperature of the bearing rises slowly with the start of operation and reaches a stable state after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of the bearing varies with the heat capacity, heat dissipation, speed and load of the machine.

If the lubrication and installation are not appropriate, the bearing temperature will rise sharply and abnormal high temperature will occur. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures should be taken. The working temperature of the bearing can be monitored at any time by using the heat sensor, and the automatic alarm or stop can be realized when the temperature exceeds the prescribed value, so as to prevent the occurrence of the burning shaft accident.

4. Lubrication

Lubrication has an important impact on the fatigue life and friction, wear, temperature rise, vibration of bearings. Without normal lubrication, bearings can not work. Analysis of the causes of bearing damage shows that about 40% of bearing damage is related to poor lubrication.
