How to distinguish the quality of bearings?

1. Whether the outer packing is clear.

Generally speaking, the brand of double row tapered roller bearings manufactured by regular manufacturers has their own special designers to design the outer packaging, and arrange the factories that have passed the production conditions to produce it. Therefore, the packaging of the products should be very clear and unambiguous, no matter from the line to the color block.

2. Whether the steel print is clear or not.

Each bearing product will be printed on the body of the bearing product with its brand name, label and so on. Although the font is very small, the products manufactured by the regular manufacturers all use the steel printing technology to print, and the font is pressed before heat treatment, so the font is small, but the concave is deep and very clear. Usually, the font of counterfeit products is very blurred. Because of the rough printing technology, the font floats on the surface. Some of them can be easily erased by hand or the manual trace is serious. You can see our bearing print, it is very clear, as shown in the following figure.

3. Is there any noise?

The left hand holds the inner sleeve of the bearing, and the right hand swings the outer sleeve slightly to and fro to rotate it, listening for noise during the operation of the bearing. Due to the backward production conditions of most counterfeit products and the complete manual workshop operation, impurities such as dust and sand will inevitably be mixed into the bearing body during the production process, so when the bearing rotates, there will be noise or the operation is not smooth. This is the key to judging whether the product comes from a brand product of a regular manufacturer with strict production standards and machine operation.

4. Are there any cloudy oil marks on the surface?

Whether there is a turbid oil stain on the surface requires special attention when buying bearings. The manufacturer with poor technology can easily leave thick oil marks when rust-proof treatment is carried out on the bearing body. It feels sticky and thick when touching by hand. The bearings manufactured by the manufacturer with high technology can hardly see any trace of rust-proof oil.

5. Whether the chamfer is even or not.

The so-called chamfering of bearings, that is, the junction of horizontal and vertical planes, counterfeit bearing products due to production technology constraints, the treatment of these edges and corners is unsatisfactory, which we can easily distinguish.

6. Packaging of bearings

After the inner packing and outer packing bearings have been manufactured and passed the inspection, they are cleaned and rust-proof, and then put into the inner packing to achieve the purpose of waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, impact-proof and maintenance of the quality and accuracy of the bearings for easy use and sale.

Bearing inner packaging can be divided into three categories according to the period of rust prevention:

(1) Short Anti-rust Period Packaging: Anti-rust Period 3-6 months, suitable for mass shipment to the same subscriber, in a short period of time will be put into use of bearings. Simple packing is adopted on the principle of convenient use by mutual agreement.

(2) General anti-rust period packaging: one year anti-rust period, suitable for general purpose bearings.

(3) Long anti-rust period packaging: two years anti-rust period, suitable for special and precision bearings.

Bearing inner packaging materials include polyethylene plastic cylinder (box), kraft paper, plain and wrinkle polyethylene composite paper, carton, vinyl or polyethylene plastic film, nylon fastening belt or plastic weaving fastening belt, waterproof high strength plastic belt, linen bag, etc. All the above materials should be qualified in corrosion resistance test.
